Mayday Mayday Mayday for Wild Salmon!

Please join us walking from Saanichton to Victoria on May Day (1st) and for a rally at the BC Parliament.  

Start at 9am from Tsawout First Nation in Saanichton (7728 Tetayut Rd) - or meet at 12.30pm at Lana Popham's constituency office (4085 Quadra St) or at the BC Parliament from 3pm to 5pm. 

The walk is 22km and will follow Route 17 turning off on Quadra St and then to the BC Parliament via Bastion Square meeting up with the International Workers Day 'March for May Day'.

Speakers at the rally include Elizabeth May, Denise Savoie, Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, Chief Bob Chamberlin, Chief Marilyn Baptiste, Ian McAllister, Eddie Gardner, Zoe Blunt (reading a statement from Chief Qwatsinas- Edward Moody), Betty Krawczyk, Darren Blaney and Alexandra Morton.
