CBC News: fish farm industry incapable of destroying infected farmed salmon

In a CBC News report, Alexandra Morton asks why the fish farm industry does not have a plan in place to cull farmed salmon when asked to do so by government. 

 

Last week, federal officials ordered a fish farm in Newfoundland to destroy 450,000 infected salmon, but the industry responded that... a plan to do that is still being worked out.

 

"That's really shocking because they should have a mass mortality plan in place", Alexandra Morton told CBC.
